HYDROGEN PEROXIDE REVIEWS FOR PREPPERS AND EVERYONE ELSE
The many therapeutic and other applications of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)
have been covered extensively in other places. Everyone should read the great article by Dr.
David Williams at Ken Adachi’s website:
This great article from Dr. Williams Newsletter, will familiarize you
with the basics of using hydrogen peroxide and all its wonderful
applications. We would highly recommend
getting all the back issues of Dr. Williams Newsletters since they are a gold
mine of Alternative Medicine and Health.
When we searched for info we
found a lot but it is mostly coupled with a big sales pitch. Most of the
products are derivative. We would
recommend pure 35% food grade H2O2 from a reputable supplier---and therein lies
the rub. More on that later.
H2O2 is not something people should use without some knowledge. When you
realize that H2O2 was the fuel for the German V2 rockets that bombarded England
in World War 2 you realize that this is a substance to be respected. You need to know how to handle it, what it
can and cannot do etc.
That said, it is one of the most
useful tools for anyone to have around, especially a prepper or survivalist or
just someone who wants an alternative to
more unnatural and caustic chemicals.
Just the fact that it can purify water and sterilize wounds would make
it worth its weight in gold. But it also has valuable curative abilities as
well. If the power goes out for some
time, then your ozone machine, magnetic pulser, etc. may be rendered impotent. If you have a
gallon or two of 35% Food Grade H2O2, then you will be in good shape to fight
off any pathogens that threaten, see references. And it sure beats bleach to
purify your water in an emergency!
But, always remember to label it clearly and put it where no child can
mistake it for something they can drink! It looks like water but it can kill at full
strength. But, then so can medicine
and many other things. Just be vigilant.
It used to be somewhat easy to find a good distributor of H2O2. But recently, things appear to be changing.
This could be due to many factors but we would advise caution and buyer beware.
It is so easy for a company to water down this product and few are qualified to
tell 17.5% from 35%. Yet, there is a difference when using it for some kind of
therapy.
We had a bad experience with one online company that we ordered one
gallon from of 35% food grade. It turned out to be very weak, in fact less than
10%! Most people would not notice this
unless they were experienced. We had
ordered from this company in the past several times and had no problem. But, times change. So the first rule is; deal with someone you
know and trust or someone who comes highly recommended by someone you know and
trust, preferable someone who knows and has worked with oxygen therapies.

PEROXIDE YOU BUY AT THE DRUG STORE IS 3%!
YOU CAN USE IT TO GARGLE AND AS MOUTH RINSE. AGAIN, IF YOU USE IT TO
RINSE YOUR MOUTH AFTER EATING YOU WILL OBSERVE A FOAMING ACTION. THIS IS THE
LITTLE BIT OF PEROXIDE KILLING GERMS IN YOUR MOUTH. SO, NEVER USE 35% UNLESS PROPERLY DILUTED FOR
A SPECIFIC PURPOSE WITH DISTILLED WATER PREFERABLY.
CAUTION SHOULD ALWAYS BE TAKEN TO MAKE SURE NO ONE, ESPECIALLY KIDS, IS
TEMPED TO TASTE OR DRINK. A GOOD PLACE
TO PUT THE CONTAINER IS IN THE FREEZER.
THIS IS A GOOD TEST. 35% WILL NOT
FREEZE AND IT KEEPS BETTER. IF THERE IS
ICE FORMING THEN YOU KNOW IT IS NOT PURE 35%!
MAKE SURE TO LABEL IT WITH A WARNING!!! REMEMBER, IT WAS USED FOR ROCKET FUEL. NO, IT
WON’T EXPLODE. IT IS VERY STABLE AT
NORMAL TEMPS.
Here we just want to point out the benefit of having some 35% Food Grade
on hand. A few drops in water to purify
and kill germs, diluted as a mouthwash and gargle, a wonderful antiseptic to
purify wounds etc. We will not go into
the many benefits of this wonderful
substance since this article is about something else. We will give several good sources of such
information at the end for those who want to read up more. Suffice it to say,
that H2O2 is Nature’s way of disinfection.
Mother’s milk contains it. Rain
contains it. Our cells make it in minute
quantities. It is natural. Like garlic,
golden seal and so many other God-given substances, it is hated by the
establishment and loved by your body.
The problem is, H2O2 is hard to make and it is very hard to find a
reputable supplier. We don’t know if it
is the economy or some more sinister governmental pressure, but it took our
programmer a full day to find even a potential supplier that appeared reputable
and trustworthy. Since we were not looking
to acquire a 55 gallon barrel we could not go directly to chemical
manufactures. We wanted to buy like a
regular retail customer to get an honest read.
We did finally find a really good source. We have no connection with this company but
respect for their product and customer service. Not to say this is the only
one, just the only one we could find. The
first ones on Google are not necessarily the best.
Some criteria:
This was the one we found (purelivingperoxide.com) that did not slam all their competitors. We
found this endearing since that indicates a higher moral platform.
This one proudly gave their address and contact info unlike several of
the other ones. (Beware the ones who you
cannot find location information on. We will
not buy anything on the web anymore unless they are not afraid to give their address
of business at the very least!) They were also pleasant and sincere
sounding. This adds points.
They gave their source with a phone call, a manufacturer that has been in
business for more than 30 years.
One of the other companies that
had sent questionable product, has more than one company name and appears to be
trying to pretend they are completely separate companies. When you check the phone numbers they both
originate in the same place. Clever
marketing? Kind of suspicious though.
This one was very straight forward about everything. They offered to have
me speak with the owner if I wanted. Even
though they charge more, it was a fair price and, most importantly, it was not
watered down and diluted like so many others. It came fairly quickly and was of
very good quality.
The container was prominently marked 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide,
which some other companies do not. They also
included some good printed materials and a free, full, small bottle with
applicators.

One more tip. Even big
distributors like Amazon are being punked by some unscrupulous suppliers. Most people are not equipped to determine
either the purity or the per centage of hydrogen peroxide. This can be dangerous if they believe they
are using a pure product to self treat some condition or disease. There is
clear evidence that H2O2 can be very effective against most pathogens but it
has to be the proper purity etc. There
are so many products out there that are simply repackaged versions of the
same thing. The prices are very high
in our estimation for something you can mix yourself. And, furthermore, by mixing it yourself, you
will be certain of the correct per cent and purity. What you are buying with many of these
products is a slight degree of education and fancy label with a lot of
marketing. Do the work yourself. Study, read up and save yourself a lot of
money.
We have a colleague who is a healer practitioner and has used oxygen
therapies for two decades. He said he
found it progressively harder to find a supplier as the internet competition
heated up. Most were making claims about
the other’s lying and deceptive practices, i.e. mutual mudslinging. He finally went with one that he had used
some time before and had supplied him with a good product. When he got the
product from this unnamed source that is plastered all over the Google search
engine, has several company names and is the supplier for many other so-called therapeutic products even on
Amazon, he found that it was very weak, estimated 10% at best and nowhere near
the 35% that he was charged for. The
gallon container was not even marked 35% Food Grade.
This stuff is very expensive being about $60 for a gallon delivered. Our friend was very upset by this since the
website is overflowing with flowery claims to being totally honest and
trustworthy. He called and was given a
refund.
This could have been an error, since the container was not marked as to per cent strength which it
should have been. It is hard to believe
this was an accident or that he was the only one that this happened to. When people are using this to treat
themselves for various diseases, it is tantamount to selling phony prescription
drugs. It is not only immoral and unethical, it is downright dangerous. If someone is self medicating under the
belief that they are using real 35% H2O2, and they are not, they could get
worse or even die. So we take this
seriously!
Be very careful with this. Buy only from people you know or that come
highly recommended. Things are getting
worse in our economy and who knows what kind of tricks are being practiced.
Many MDs prescribe 3% drug store Peroxide
in simple cases of ear infection and it is good for cuts, mouth sores and the
like. You can use the 3% that you get at the pharmacy with great effect and it
is just as pure as any. It is made with
distilled water and was on sale the other day at Walmart for 99 cents a quart! But, this is not appropriate for internal
therapeutical applications. It is good
to have some of the good stuff on hand and it is not like you can make your own
like with colloidal silver.
Colloidal Silver is a good substitute for peroxide in some applications
and we do know a very reputable supplier, Water Oz. We will detail the
advantages in the next installment.
A final proviso, we realize sometimes mistakes are made. Also, as times
change, businesses change too. Ownership can change, supplies etc. Also, you should know the difference between
food grade and technical grade.
Technical grade is useable but has the potential for impurities and even
heavy metals since it is not as pure as food grade. However, anyone who sells technical grade
under the aegis of food grade is taking a very big risk. Tech has chemicals in it which prohibit
internal use and this would provide an invitation to the FDA to shut such a
company down fast! Our next endeavor
will be to have lab tests done on several of these brands to make sure they are
complying with Federal law and just plain ethics. Bon aptite.
