AN UPDATE: Drug-resistant 'superbugs' hit 35 states, spread worldwide

Bacteria that are able to survive every modern antibiotic are cropping up in many U.S. hospitals and are spreading outside the USA, public health officials say.
The bugs, reported by hospitals in more than 35 states, typically strike the critically ill and are fatal in 30% to 60% of cases. Israeli doctors are battling an outbreak in Tel Aviv that has been traced to a patient from northern New Jersey, says Neil Fishman, director of infection control and epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania and president of the Society of Healthcare Epidemiologists.
The bacteria are equipped with a gene that enables them to produce an enzyme that disables antibiotics. The enzyme is called Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenamase, or KPC. It disables carbapenam antibiotics, last-ditch treatments for infections that don't respond to other drugs.
"We've lost our drug of last resort," Fishman says.

Our advice is pretty much the same as it was then. Get educated fast as to the various authentic alternative healing methods that are available, at least with some effort. If chemtrails indeed are just normal contrails, then why do you see two jets going back and forth across the sky until the whole sky is covered with cloud like diffused white substance? ( You can Google “chemtrails” and to Youtube, and find a large assortment of articles and videos like Danger in the Sky.) Why are they criss-crossing back and forth, usually for several hours? You can see them over many cities all over the world now if you watch for them. I have seen them in Europe and even over the Sonora desert!

These are not normal contrails. Normal contrails that proceed from high flying jet planes, are mostly water that is condensed and frozen by the temperatures at high altitudes. These normal ones disperse within seconds or minutes. You can observe them when normal jets go across the sky near any air base. “Chemtrails”, on the other hand persist for hours, disperse and drift until they appear like clouds to the uninformed.

We need to demand of our political representatives that they find out and reveal what chemically and biologically in these strange trails. Many, many people, including myself, have had very bad reactions from breathing this unknown mixture when it has drifted into the lower atmosphere.
Normal flight patterns of high altitude jets do not involve flying back and forth over a specific territory in crisscross patterns!

What kind of strange chemicals or even germs are being sprayed on the population and why?

MAYBE THE STRONGEST POINT IS: ONE OF THE MAIN CLAIMS TO NORMALITY IS THAT THEY ARE SEEDING THE IONISPHERE TO 1) AFFECT THE WEATHER OR 2) TO SET UP A PROTECTIVE LAYER FOR STOPPING ICBMS AND EMP WEAPONS. When I went climbing once, I got caught in some descending chemtrails and got the worst lung infection of my life by that evening. LANTANA, Fla. – It started with a cough, an autumn hack that refused to go away.

Then came the fevers. They bathed and chilled the skinny frame of Oswaldo Juarez, a 19-year-old Peruvian visiting to study English. His lungs clattered, his chest tightened and he ached with every gasp. During a wheezing fit at 4 a.m., Juarez felt a warm knot rise from his throat. He ran to the bathroom sink and spewed a mouthful of blood.

Juarez's strain — so-called extremely drug-resistant (XXDR) TB — has never before been seen in the U.S., according to Dr. David Ashkin, one of the nation's leading experts on tuberculosis. XXDR tuberculosis is so rare that only a handful of other people in the world are thought to have had it.

Today, all the leading killer infectious diseases on the planet — TB, malaria and HIV among them — are mutating at an alarming rate, hitchhiking their way in and out of countries. The reason: Overuse and misuse of the very drugs that were supposed to save us.

• In Cambodia, scientists have confirmed the emergence of a new drug-resistant form of malaria, threatening the only treatment left to fight a disease that already kills 1 million people a year.

• In Africa, new and harder to treat strains of HIV are being detected in about 5 percent of new patients. HIV drug resistance rates have shot up to as high as 30 percent worldwide.

• In the U.S., drug-resistant infections killed more than 65,000 people last year — more than prostate and breast cancer combined. More than 19,000 people died from a staph infection alone that has been eliminated in Norway, where antibiotics are stringently limited.

"Drug resistance is starting to be a very big problem. In the past, people stopped worrying about TB and it came roaring back. We need to make sure that doesn't happen again," said Dr. Thomas Frieden, director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, who was himself infected with tuberculosis while caring for drug-resistant patients at a New York clinic in the early '90s. "We are all connected by the air we breathe, and that is why this must be everyone's problem."

This April, the World Health Organization sounded alarms by holding its first drug-resistant TB conference in Beijing. The message was clear — the disease has already spread to all continents and is increasing rapidly. Even worse, WHO estimates only 1 percent of resistant patients received appropriate treatment last year.

"We have seen a huge up burst in resistance," said CDC epidemiologist Dr. Laurie Hicks.

IS THERE A CURE FOR CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME (CFS)?

Is there a cure for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)? If we go by the current medical paradigm then we are more likely to wind up with another symptom suppressant, i.e. a drug that allows the sufferers to “live with it”. Many conditions are no doubt caused or made worse by diet and the multitude of chemicals that we ingest routinely, but knowing that germs are part of the cause makes a solution more probable.

Two alternative therapies that have demonstrated amazing success in defeating pathogens of all types are ozone therapy and rife therapy (see below for links), both of which are not recognized by the US FDA and AMA. Both of these therapies have been shown to kill all types of pathogens without any harm to normal tissue! Jim Folsom Trial

James Folsom is well known, in the Rife world, as the manufacturer and distributor of the BioSolutions/Global Wellness Plus, Rife-type, bio-resonance instruments. He has been marketing this equipment since 1995 from San Diego after taking over the business from the Royal Rife Research Society.

Jim has hundreds of testimonials where his devices improved physical symptoms, and in many cases led to full remission and did not have any dissatisfied customers.

In April 2003, he has raided by the FDA as part of their “Operation Cure All”, which targeted various companies in the alternative health market at the time. A lot of equipment was confiscated at the time, but then Jim heard no more for several years. Then just before the statute of limitations would have taken effect, Jim was arrested and charged with many felony counts, including selling a class III medical instrument without a license. He stood by his principles, as he saw himself as not guilty for the following reasons. He did not need a license to sell the instrument because his equipment was Class 1 biofeedback device exempt. The instrument had been used for 70+ years, with no known harm or side effects. And the device should have been grandfathered in by the FDA, as Rife equipment had already been on the market before 1976. Jim saw this as an opportunity to clear the name of Royal Rife once and for all.

He was then offered two or three plea bargains, the last of which would have him plead guilty to a misdemeanor, pay a $250 fine, unsupervised probation for a year, and he would not be able to sell his devices. Jim, knowing the capabilities of his devices, felt certain he could fight this charge and win. He had been running his business ethically and collecting testimonials for years and so he put together a good defense team. He decided to go through with a jury trial.

Jim Folsom’s Trial, Feb 4-17, 2009

Jim was arrested for selling a class III medical instrument without FDA pre market approval/clearance. The charges that Jim thought he was being charged with and for which he built his case was:

Fraud against the government, Misbranding/Mislabeling/Adulteration and Fraud against customers (added by the prosecuting attorney and allowed by the judge a couple of days into the trial).

After 7 days of prosecution, he only had about 30 minutes of defense and then was very surprised to learn that he was found guilty of 26 felony charges (despite being told up to and during the trial it was only three), which allowed for a possible maximum sentence of 140 years in prison and $500,000.00 in fines. Being found guilty on 26 charges was a total surprise for both Jim and his attorneys.

Jim had stood on his principles for his innocence and to clear the Rife name. It was an impossible task. Jim was up against an endless supply of money through the FDA and an unjust system.

Since the trial, Jim’s defense attorneys had promised to present a motion for a new trial, but Jim is not aware of that happening. Jim also provided them with money at the end of the trial for the transcripts, but that money was not used for the intended purpose as of this writing. The transcripts are necessary to put together a motion for a new trial and it takes 30 days. Jim also mentioned he’s being pressured into signing a plea agreement.

The outcome of this could set a precedent for other rife-type device inventor/distributers, and things must be set right. There is a group working on getting Jim out of jail. He is in a detention center awaiting sentencing set for July 13, 2009 at 10:30am (not May 11 nor July 10th).

How Will This Affect Other Rife Manufacturers in the USA?
The FDA claims this type of instrument is under its jurisdiction, regardless of the fact that they were used many years before the 1976 Act and should not require a license to distribute. This seems to be the background and big picture of this case. The big question is how this will affect others who sell instruments but are more careful not to make any statements regarding efficacy? It will cause major anxiety in those selling these devices.

Also (most likely as a result of the trial) just 45 days after trial, the FDA put out a press announcement “FDA to Review Medical Devices Marketed Prior to 1976” [10]

Doctors Warn: Avoid Genetically Modified Food

On May 19th, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) called on “Physicians to educate their patients, the medical community, and the public to avoid GM (genetically modified) foods when possible and provide educational materials concerning GM foods and health risks.”[1] They called for a moratorium on GM foods, long-term independent studies, and labeling. AAEM’s position paper stated, “Several animal studies indicate serious health risks associated with GM food,” including infertility, immune problems, accelerated aging, insulin regulation, and changes in major organs and the gastrointestinal system. They conclude, “There is more than a casual association between GM foods and adverse health effects. There is causation,” as defined by recognized scientific criteria. “The strength of association and consistency between GM foods and disease is confirmed in several animal studies.”

More and more doctors are already prescribing GM-free diets. Dr. Amy Dean, a Michigan internal medicine specialist, and board member of AAEM says, “I strongly recommend patients eat strictly non-genetically modified foods.” Ohio allergist Dr. John Boyles says “I used to test for soy allergies all the time, but now that soy is genetically engineered, it is so dangerous that I tell people never to eat it.”

Dr. Jennifer Armstrong, President of AAEM, says, “Physicians are probably seeing the effects in their patients, but need to know how to ask the right questions.” World renowned biologist Pushpa M. Bhargava goes one step further. After reviewing more than 600 scientific journals, he concludes that genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are a major contributor to the sharply deteriorating health of Americans.

Pregnant women and babies at great risk

Among the population, biologist David Schubert of the Salk Institute warns that “children are the most likely to be adversely effected by toxins and other dietary problems” related to GM foods. He says without adequate studies, the children become “the experimental animals.”[2]

The experience of actual GM-fed experimental animals is scary. When GM soy was fed to female rats, most of their babies died within three weeks—compared to a 10% death rate among the control group fed natural soy.[3] The GM-fed babies were also smaller, and later had problems getting pregnant.[4]

When male rats were fed GM soy, their testicles actually changed color—from the normal pink to dark blue.[5] Mice fed GM soy had altered young sperm.[6] Even the embryos of GM fed parent mice had significant changes in their DNA.[7] Mice fed GM corn in an Austrian government study had fewer babies, which were also smaller than normal.[8]

Reproductive problems also plague livestock. Investigations in the state of Haryana, India revealed that most buffalo that ate GM cottonseed had complications such as premature deliveries, abortions, infertility, and prolapsed uteruses. Many calves died. In the US, about two dozen farmers reported thousands of pigs became sterile after consuming certain GM corn varieties. Some had false pregnancies; others gave birth to bags of water. Cows and bulls also became infertile when fed the same corn.[9]

In the US population, the incidence of low birth weight babies, infertility, and infant mortality are all escalating.

Food designed to produce toxin

GM corn and cotton are engineered to produce their own built-in pesticide in every cell. When bugs bite the plant, the poison splits open their stomach and kills them. Biotech companies claim that the pesticide, called Bt—produced from soil bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis—has a history of safe use, since organic farmers and others use Bt bacteria spray for natural insect control. Genetic engineers insert Bt genes into corn and cotton, so the plants do the killing.
The Bt-toxin produced in GM plants, however, is thousands of times more concentrated than natural Bt spray, is designed to be more toxic,[10] has properties of an allergen, and unlike the spray, cannot be washed off the plant.
Moreover, studies confirm that even the less toxic natural bacterial spray is harmful. When dispersed by plane to kill gypsy moths in the Pacific Northwest, about 500 people reported allergy or flu-like symptoms. Some had to go to the emergency room.[11],[12]
The exact same symptoms are now being reported by farm workers throughout India, from handling Bt cotton.[13] In 2008, based on medical records, the Sunday India reported, “Victims of itching have increased massively this year . . . related to BT cotton farming.”[14]

GMOs provoke immune reactions

AAEM states, “Multiple animal studies show significant immune dysregulation,” including increase in cytokines, which are “associated with asthma, allergy, and inflammation”—all on the rise in the US.

According to GM food safety expert Dr. Arpad Pusztai, changes in the immune status of GM animals are “a consistent feature of all the studies.”[15] Even Monsanto’s own research showed significant immune system changes in rats fed Bt corn.[16] A November 2008 by the Italian government also found that mice have an immune reaction to Bt corn.[17]

GM soy and corn each contain two new proteins with allergenic properties,[18] GM soy has up to seven times more trypsin inhibitor—a known soy allergen,[19] and skin prick tests show some people react to GM, but not to non-GM soy.[20] Soon after GM soy was introduced to the UK, soy allergies skyrocketed by 50%. Perhaps the US epidemic of food allergies and asthma is a casualty of genetic manipulation.

Animals dying in large numbers

In India, animals graze on cotton plants after harvest. But when shepherds let sheep graze on Bt cotton plants, thousands died. Post mortems showed severe irritation and black patches in both intestines and liver (as well as enlarged bile ducts). Investigators said preliminary evidence “strongly suggests that the sheep mortality was due to a toxin. . . . most probably Bt-toxin.”[21] In a small follow-up feeding study by the Deccan Development Society, all sheep fed Bt cotton plants died within 30 days; those that grazed on natural cotton plants remained healthy.

In a small village in Andhra Pradesh, buffalo grazed on cotton plants for eight years without incident. On January 3rd, 2008, the buffalo grazed on Bt cotton plants for the first time. All 13 were sick the next day; all died within 3 days.[22]

Bt corn was also implicated in the deaths of cows in Germany, and horses, water buffaloes, and chickens in The Philippines.[23]

In lab studies, twice the number of chickens fed Liberty Link corn died; 7 of 20 rats fed a GM tomato developed bleeding stomachs; another 7 of 40 died within two weeks.[24] Monsanto’s own study showed evidence of poisoning in major organs of rats fed Bt corn, according to top French toxicologist G. E. Seralini.[25]

Worst finding of all—GMOs remain inside of us

The only published human feeding study revealed what may be the most dangerous problem from GM foods. The gene inserted into GM soy transfers into the DNA of bacteria living inside our intestines and continues to function.[26] This means that long after we stop eating GMOs, we may still have potentially harmful GM proteins produced continuously inside of us. Put more plainly, eating a corn chip produced from Bt corn might transform our intestinal bacteria into living pesticide factories, possibly for the rest of our lives.

When evidence of gene transfer is reported at medical conferences around the US, doctors often respond by citing the huge increase of gastrointestinal problems among their patients over the last decade. GM foods might be colonizing the gut flora of North Americans.

Warnings by government scientists ignored and denied

Scientists at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had warned about all these problems even in the early 1990s. According to documents released from a lawsuit, the scientific consensus at the agency was that GM foods were inherently dangerous, and might create hard-to-detect allergies, poisons, gene transfer to gut bacteria, new diseases, and nutritional problems. They urged their superiors to require rigorous long-term tests.[27] But the White House had ordered the agency to promote biotechnology and the FDA responded by recruiting Michael Taylor, Monsanto’s former attorney, to head up the formation of GMO policy. That policy, which is in effect today, denies knowledge of scientists’ concerns and declares that no safety studies on GMOs are required. It is up to Monsanto and the other biotech companies to determine if their foods are safe. Mr. Taylor later became Monsanto’s vice president.

Dangerously few studies, untraceable diseases

AAEM states, “GM foods have not been properly tested” and “pose a serious health risk.” Not a single human clinical trial on GMOs has been published. A 2007 review of published scientific literature on the “potential toxic effects/health risks of GM plants” revealed “that experimental data are very scarce.” The author concludes his review by asking, “Where is the scientific evidence showing that GM plants/food are toxicologically safe, as assumed by the biotechnology companies?”[28]

Famed Canadian geneticist David Suzuki answers, “The experiments simply haven’t been done and we now have become the guinea pigs.” He adds, “Anyone that says, ‘Oh, we know that this is perfectly safe,’ I say is either unbelievably stupid or deliberately lying.”[29]

Dr. Schubert points out, “If there are problems, we will probably never know because the cause will not be traceable and many diseases take a very long time to develop.” If GMOs happen to cause immediate and acute symptoms with a unique signature, perhaps then we might have a chance to trace the cause.

This is precisely what happened during a US epidemic in the late 1980s. The disease was fast acting, deadly, and caused a unique measurable change in the blood—but it still took more than four years to identify that an epidemic was even occurring. By then it had killed about 100 Americans and caused 5,000-10,000 people to fall sick or become permanently disabled. It was caused by a genetically engineered brand of a food supplement called L-tryptophan.

If other GM foods are contributing to the rise of autism, obesity, diabetes, asthma, cancer, heart disease, allergies, reproductive problems, or any other common health problem now plaguing Americans, we may never know. In fact, since animals fed GMOs had such a wide variety of problems, susceptible people may react to GM food with multiple symptoms. It is therefore telling that in the first nine years after the large scale introduction of GM crops in 1996, the incidence of people with three or more chronic diseases nearly doubled, from 7% to 13%.[30]

To help identify if GMOs are causing harm, the AAEM asks their “members, the medical community, and the independent scientific community to gather case studies potentially related to GM food consumption and health effects, begin epidemiological research to investigate the role of GM foods on human health, and conduct safe methods of determining the effect of GM foods on human health.”

Citizens need not wait for the results before taking the doctors advice to avoid GM foods. People can stay away from anything with soy or corn derivatives, cottonseed and canola oil, and sugar from GM sugar beets—unless it says organic or “non-GMO.” There is a pocket Non-GMO Shopping Guide, co-produced by the Institute for Responsible Technology and the Center for Food Safety, which is available as a download, as well as in natural food stores and in many doctors’ offices.

If even a small percentage of people choose non-GMO brands, the food industry will likely respond as they did in Europe—by removing all GM ingredients. Thus, AAEM’s non-GMO prescription may be a watershed for the US food supply.

International bestselling author and independent filmmaker Jeffrey M. "Residues of Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide found in GM food and feed can cause cell damage and even death, even at very low levels. The authors of a study on the subject say their research "... points to undesirable effects which are currently masked or hidden from scientific scrutiny.

"Roundup herbicides are among the most commonly used in the world, especially on GM crops that are engineered to be Roundup resistant. Their residues are among the major pollutants, and they are authorized as residues contaminating GM foods and feed at the tested levels.

The researchers studied toxicity mechanisms of four different Roundup formulations in human cells. The formulations were diluted at minimal doses (up to 100,000 times or more), but they still caused cell death within a few hours. The researchers also noted membrane and DNA damages, and found the formulations inhibit cell respiration."

When you learn the truth about fluoridation of our drinking water, you will get very angry. You will ask how they can do this to us? But, then, if you are very smart, you will start asking the key question, “What else are they doing to us?”

Whatever, Dr. Mercola says from his article, as bad as it sounds, is only a fraction of the horrible truth. He cannot tell you everything if he hopes to stay on the Internet as a helpful presence. You need to study up and do your own due diligence. Do not drink fluoridated water. It is poison and causes so many diseases, including cancer, that you should make sure. Most cheap water purifiers you can buy do not get the fluoride out!! You need to at least, distill or use reverse osmosis with a carbon filter to get this horrendous toxin out of your water.

We cannot substantiate it, but we have it on good authority that the Nazis put it in the concentration camp water to ensure compliance. What does this tell you?

For example, a 1936 issue of the Journal of the American Dental Association stated that fluoride at the 1 ppm (part per million) concentration is as toxic as arsenic and lead.

Too much radiation at one body site can cause skin conditions resembling severe burns or local cancers. Widely distributed over the body so that it penetrates much of the blood-forming marrow, excessive radiation can cause leukemia. If it strikes the gonads (ovaries or testicles), excessive radiation—i.e., by best estimate, beyond 10 roentgens*—can cause mutations in the genes, which, in turn, may mean deformities in the patient's descendants. Dangers, by sites:

Dental. The average dental X ray now delivers 5 r., but this is only to the jaw: the "scatter" radiation reaching the gonads from this is a mere .005 r. in a man and .001 r. in a woman. It would thus take 2,000 X rays to deliver a presumably damaging 10 r. to a man's gonads. Even so, notes the Journal of the American Dental Association, the currently used 5-r. doses are unnecessary. In the same issue, Radiologist Lewis E. Etter of Pittsburgh tells dentists how (by using higher voltages, better filters, faster films, shorter exposures) they can cut down the total radiation used in each exposure to a piddling .1 r. The National Bureau of Standards has developed another way to reduce X-ray exposures: a panoramic machine (see cut) which photographs the entire mouth with a single, sharply focused exposure instead of 14 separate plates.

Chest. The conventional shot at a 6-ft. range on a film 14 by 17 in. delivers .06 to .1 r. to the chest, about .001 r. to the gonads. At the 24-in. ranges used in mass chest surveys, the dosages go as high as 2 r. to the chest, but the scatter to the gonads is scarcely increased. But fluoroscopy, in which the image is viewed instantaneously on a screen, takes longer, may entail 3 to 10 r. per minute to the chest and .1 to .4 r. per minute to the gonads.

Prenatal. X rays of pregnant women may endanger the fetus. Oxford University researchers report that among the mothers of British children who had died of leukemia X rays of the pelvis during pregnancy (necessarily exposing the entire fetus to radiation) had been twice as common as among the mothers of other children. This was no conclusive finding, but a warning flag against haphazard X rays of the pregnant.

Arms & Legs. X rays of limbs to detect possible fractures, or arthritic deposits in joints, usually require only short exposures. The radiation used is not enough to damage bone marrow, is far enough from the gonads for safety.
Therapeutic. Although the amounts of radiation required in medical treatment, e.g., for cancer, average much higher than those in diagnosis, they are generally safer. Treatment usually is given by a radiologist who uses elaborate shielding to protect parts of the body not intended to be irradiated. In some cases, radiologists take a calculated risk of damaging some healthy tissues for the sake of attacking the cancer and prolonging life.

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving. CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.

America is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so? Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper, and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.' Jesse Jackson stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the group singing, 'We shall overcome.' Jesse then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake. Nancy Pelosi & John Kerry exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share. Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer. The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the government.

Hillary gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper in a defamation suit against the ant, and the case is tried before a panel of federal judges that Bill Clinton appointed from a list of single-parent welfare recipients. The ant loses the case. The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around him because he doesn't maintain it. The ant has disappeared in the snow. The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.

“They” are talking again about deploying more nuclear reactors as a solution to oil and coal and their attendant problems.

We say, go back and watch China Syndrome and Silkwood. Get a clue. The biggest problem the nuclear industry has is storage of nuclear waste material and it has NOT BEEN SOLVED. Whatever disinformation you are being fed, it is all lies and propaganda. We have not seen one effective and safe way of storing this very dangerous nuclear waste material so far. (They use France as an example. Do we really know what is going on with the ecology over there? We don’t even know what is really going on here!)

Granted, fusion, if it is ever made practical, will eliminate most of this problem. Then, we only have to worry about explosions, terrorism, melt down, etc. Good grief!. Is everyone mad? WASHINGTON (AP) — The government proposed Tuesday relaxing its rules on labeling of irradiated foods and suggested it may allow some products zapped with radiation to be called "pasteurized."

The proposed rule would apply only to foods regulated by the FDA. However, if and when the rule is finalized, the Department of Agriculture could undergo a similar process to change the irradiation labeling requirements for the foods it regulates, including meat and poultry, said Amanda Eamich, a spokeswoman for USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.

Why is this a big deal? Well, aside from the obvious effort to further pull the wool over the public’s eyes by trying to “gold plate a terd” by calling irradiation of food “pasteurization” (which is bad enough by itself---but that is another story); the fact is, that irradiating food is DANGEROUS.

We are being told that irradiating food does nothing essential to it. That’s okay; they are so used to us believing everything they tell us about the harmlessness of everything from fluoride in the water to fluorescent lighting, that they are not worried about us waking up at this point.

The information in this article is an abstract drawn from many information sources, reflects the opinion of the Editors and should not to be construed as medical advice or as a claim for cures either stated or implied.

Rife therapy may be the most suppressed medical approach of all times. Here is a brief synopsis. We have chosen the works of the more recognized luminaries in the field, because, as with all alternative therapies, one must be cautious due to the many species and irresponsible “pretenders”.

Rife frequency therapy, put simply, is a term for the use of ultrasound to kill germs. This ultrasound can be produced in multiple ways but the ultimate effect is that it becomes sound inside the human body. Most every germ or pathogen has its own resonant frequency at which it will vibrate and shake until its structure is disrupted, much like the old adage about the opera singer shattering a wine glass with her voice. Most bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens, etc., have very weak outer cell walls and when the right "frequency" is aimed at them, they will dissolve and fall apart. For practical purposes, there is no danger to mammalian cell membranes and cell organelles, because they do not have structures that are permanently disrupted by Rife type ultrasound technology. Incidentally, the intensity of rife ultrasound is thousands of times less than the standard ultrasound they use to view babys in the womb! (Once the basic principles of this science are grasped, it is quite easy to see how this really works and how it can be applied to all manner of pathogen-based diseases.)

Although, not a magic bullet or a cure-all, the applications of this science are so wide and so effective, that even in Rife’s day, the orthodox authorities such as the FDA and AMA fought hard and long to keep this science away from the public’s awareness. Today, if a medical treatment is not drug or surgery based, it has small chance of surviving the gauntlet of governmental regulations and vested interests. Most people have to go outside the US (except for certain states where there is some limited freedom) in order to find doctors who are willing to treat them with effective alternative solutions like rife, ozone, etc. (For example, in Germany, as of 2004 there over eight thousand doctors and practitioners who routinely use medical grade ozone and over 15,000 European! Russia has been using ozone therapy now for over 15 years and Cuba is not far behind.). Of these alternative therapies, Rife approaches are super-effective and safe yet seriously under-represented.. ANYONE WHO IS SICK needs to know about this.

Some of the benefits of Rife compared to
other types of therapies

· Rife is ultrasound not electricity or magnetism. This ultrasound is thousands of times less in intensity than the ultrasound they use in fetal exams. Yet, it is a million times stronger than the original ultrasound Dr. Rife used to kill his original pathogens with his plasma tube device, (see various articles on site especially the Appendices and Alberta Canada Lectures).

· Rife is non-invasive in the sense that the skin is not broken and there is no damage to normal, healthy tissues and cells etc. The frequencies scanned through are purposely only in the range that are harmful to bacteria, viruses, parasites, etc.

· Rife can be used synergistically with other treatment modalities without the danger of harmful interactions as with drug therapy. There are certain contraindications for use but these are few and are thoroughly covered in the Treatment Protocols.

· Rife can be focused on a specific physical location where other modalities could not penetrate without surgery, or without losing effectiveness, e.g., periodontal and dental problems like the inside of the teeth and gums, the lungs, the arteries and arterioles, bones, joints, ligaments, etc. Many diseases are now known to be caused and/or aggravated by "leaky teeth and gums". see ARTICLE (This is not to imply the rife can replace Dentistry, but only that it is a valuable adjunct to proper Dental care.)

· Rife is non-toxic (little or no side effects other than the standard kill-off effect, i.e. Herxheimer, caused by any modality that destroys pathogens and necessitates the body having to clean up and detoxify the mess; this is a well known and documented effect of any treatment that actually works!) as opposed to most drugs, and is non-damaging to normal tissue in contrast to surgery. It has no ionizing radiation and so cannot cause damage to the immune system or DNA breakage, etc.

· Rife is currently being used by doctors in Germany and all over the world in conjunction with other effective therapies that have been declared illegal in the USA. Actually, there are 10 states and many brave practitioners in the US, who can use experimental modalities. However, Rife is unknown or very misunderstood by most MDs and even Chiropractors. This may be due to the prejudice against electro-medicine that has been fostered and taught since the early 1930’s with the advent of the FDA as an enforcer of drug-based, allopathic medicine. (There was a time in my memory, when the Chiropractors had to fight for their very existence to become part of the mainstream etc. I recall that John Wayne and Marlo Thomas were two of the stars that helped bring Chiropractic into the mainstream of public awareness as a viable health modality. CANCER CURE? WILL WE EVER KNOW?

The good news this month is that a Canadian team under Dr. Michelakis at the University of Ottawa has discovered that a simple, inexpensive chemical is a powerful anticancer agent, effective against a broad range of cancers. (Read their paper in the January Cancer Cell, subscription required). The bad news is that it is a simple, inexpensive chemical long used in medicine, and is not patentable. Thus there is no mechanism for getting the chemical (dichloroacetate, DCA) past the billion-dollar barrier of FDA approval. (The FDA actually only approved 17 drugs last year, and the drug industry spent 40 billion dollars on R&D).

So far Dr. Michelakis has demonstrated the effectiveness of DCA against various human cancer cell lines in a cell culture, and against human tumors growing on immune-suppressed rats. The drug has already been tested on human beings for many years as a treatment for a genetic enzyme deficiency. There are millions of terminal cancer victims on this planet. So, logically, the next step would be to find some volunteers and start trying to find the optimum human dose range, combinations of other apoptosis inducers that work synergistically with DCA, supplements to reduce side effects, etc.

Logically in our libertarian minds, perhaps. In the real world, nothing of the kind will happen. The FDA will not allow people in the orderly and profitable process of agonizing death by incurable cancers to try nonapproved drugs. No drug company, no matter how large, can afford to spend a billion dollars and 19 years getting a nonpatentable treatment through the bureaucratic minefield. There is no FDA-approved way to get there from here.

Santa Clause Dead At Age 2,029

Apparently, Mrs. Clause found Santa hunched over his work table early this morning. An autopsy, mandated by territory of the North Pole, determined that Mr. Clause had died of an over dose of city pollution. This was strange since Santa only ventured into the cities once per year to deliver toys. It was found however, that Santa being a pure and innocent being (much like a young child) had not built up a resistance to many of the toxins and poisons like older city-dwellers have. Also, he did have a taste for fast food admitted Mrs. Clause. This may have had an impact on his general health and immune system since he weighed over 400 pounds at his demise. The county medical examiner stated there was no way to know if the chemicals killed him first or the French fries and soft drinks. It was a toss up.

10 Things Your Hospital Won't Tell You

1. "Oops, wrong kidney."in recent years errors in treatment have become a serious problem for hospitals, ranging from operating on the wrong body part to medication mix-ups. According to a report from the Institute of Medicine, at least 1.5 million patients are harmed every year from being given the wrong drugs — that's an average of one person per U.S. hospital per day. One reason these mistakes persist: Only 10% of hospitals are fully computerized, with a central database to track allergies and diagnoses, says Robert Wachter, chief of the medical service at UC San Francisco Medical Center.But signs of change are emerging. More than 3,000 U.S. hospitals, or 75% of the country's beds, have signed on for a campaign by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement implementing new prevention measures such as multiple checks on drugs. As of June these hospitals had prevented an estimated 122,300 avoidable deaths over 18 months.While the system is improving, it still has a long way to go. Patients should always have a friend, relative or patient advocate from the hospital staff at their side to take notes and make sure the right meds are being dispensed.

2. "You may leave sicker than when you came in."A week after Leandra Wiese had surgery to remove a benign tumor, the high school senior felt well enough to host a sleepover. But later that weekend she was throwing up and running a fever. Thinking it was the flu, her parents took her to the hospital. Wiese never came home. It wasn't the flu, but a deadly surgical infection.About 2 million people a year contract hospital-related infections, and about 90,000 die, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The recent increase in antibiotic-resistant bugs and the mounting cost of health care — to which infections add about $4.5 billion annually — have mobilized the medical community to implement processes designed to decrease infections. These include using clippers rather than a razor to shave surgical sites and administering antibiotics before surgery but stopping them soon after to prevent drug resistance.For all of modern medicine's advances, the best way to minimize infection risk is low-tech: Make sure anyone who touches you washes his hands. Tubes and catheters are also a source of bugs, and patients should ask daily if they are necessary.

3. "Good luck finding the person in charge."Helen Haskell repeatedly told nurses something didn't seem right with her son Lewis, who was recovering from surgery to repair a defect in his chest wall. For nearly two days she kept asking for a veteran — or "attending" — doctor when the first-year resident's assessment seemed off. But Haskell couldn't convince the right people that her son was deteriorating. "It was like an alternate reality," she says. "I had no idea where to go." Thirty hours after her son first complained of intense pain, the South Carolina teen died of a perforated ulcer.In a sea of blue scrubs, getting the attention of the right person can be difficult. Who's in charge? Nurses don't report to doctors, but rather to a nurse supervisor. And your personal doctor has little say over radiology or the labs running your tests, which are managed by the hospital. Some facilities employ "hospitalists" — doctors who act as a point person to conduct the flow of information. Haskell urges patients to know the hospital hierarchy, read name tags, get the attending physician's phone number and, if all else fails, demand a nurse supervisor — likely the highest-ranking person who is accessible quickly.

4. "Everything is negotiable, even your hospital bill."When it comes to getting paid, hospitals have their work cut out for them. Medical bills are a major cause of bankruptcy in the U.S., and when collectors are put on the case, they take up to 25% of what is reclaimed, according to Mark Friedman, founder of billing consultant Premium Healthcare Services. That leaves room for some bargaining.Take Logan Roberts. The 26-year-old had started work as a business analyst near Atlanta but had no insurance when he was rushed to the ER for an appendectomy. The uninsured can pay three times more for procedures, says Nora Johnson, senior director of Medical Billing Advocates of America; Roberts was billed $21,000. "I was like, holy cow!" he says. "That's four times my net worth."After advice from advocacy group The Access Project, Roberts spoke with hospital administrators, telling them he couldn't pay in full. Hospitals frequently work with patients, offering payment plans or discounts. But to get it, you have to knock on the right door: Look for the office of patient accounts or the financial assistance office. It paid off for Roberts, whose bill was sliced to $4,100 — 20% of the original.

5. "Yes, we take your insurance — but we're not sure about the anesthesiologist."The last thing on your mind before surgery is making sure every doctor involved is in your network. But since the answer is often no for anesthesiologists, pathologists and radiologists, what's a patient to do? Los Angeles-based entertainment lawyer and patient advocate Michael A. Weiss repeatedly turned away out-of-network pain-management doctors on a recent visit to the hospital.We're not suggesting you go as far as Weiss did to save money, but do ask for someone in your network if you're alert enough. If it's an emergency and you're stuck with an out-of-network doctor, call your insurance company to help resolve the issue. If it's elective surgery, ask a scheduling nurse in the surgeon's office to find specialists in your plan, says South Bend, Ind.-based billing sleuth Mary Jane Stull. And if you know your procedure will be out-of-network, call the hospital billing department to negotiate. It will likely point you to a patient representative or the director of billing. Once you've dealt with the hospital, then try the surgeon or other specialists involved — some hospitals will back you in those discussions, Friedman says.

6. "Sometimes we bill you twice."Crack the code of medical bills and you may find a few surprises: charges for services you never received, or for routine items such as gowns and gloves that should not be billed separately. Clerical errors are often the reason for mistakes; one transposed number in a billing code can result in a charge for placing a catheter in an artery versus a vein — a difference of more than $3,900, Stull says.So how do you figure out if your bill has incorrect codes or duplicate charges? Start by asking for an itemized bill with "miscellaneous" items clearly defined. Some telltale mistakes: charging for three days when you stayed in the hospital overnight, a circumcision for your newborn girl or drugs you never received. Ask the hospital's billing office for a key to decipher the charges, or hire an expert to spot problems and deal with the insurance company and doctors (you can find one at www.billadvocates.com). Their expertise typically will cost up to $65 an hour, a percentage of the savings or some combination of the two. If you want to be your own billing sleuth, talk to the highest-ranking administrator you can find in the hospital finance or accounts office to begin untangling any mistaken codes.

7. "All hospitals are not created equal."How do you tell a good hospital from a bad one? For one thing, nurses. When it comes to their own families, medical workers favor institutions that attract nurses. But they're harder to find as the country's nursing shortage intensifies — by 2020, 44 states could be facing a serious deficit. Low nurse staffing directly affected patient outcomes, resulting in more problems such as urinary tract infections, shock and gastrointestinal bleeding, according to a 2001 study by Harvard and Vanderbilt University professors.Another thing to consider: Your local hospital may have been great for welcoming your child into the world, but that doesn't mean it's the best place to undergo open-heart surgery. Find the facility with the longest track record, best survival rate and highest volume in the procedure; you don't want to be the team's third hip replacement, says Samantha Collier, vice president of medical affairs at HealthGrades, which rates hospitals.The American Nurses Association's Web site lists "magnet" hospitals — those most attractive to nurses — and a call to a hospital's nurse supervisor should yield the nurse-to-patient ratio, says Gail Van Kanegan, an R.N. and author of How to Survive Your Hospital Stay. She also suggests calling the hospital's quality-control or risk-management office to get infection statistics and asking your doctor how frequently the hospital has done a certain procedure. While reporting these statistics is still voluntary, more hospitals are doing so on sites like www.hospitalcompare.hhs.gov, which compares hospitals against national averages in certain areas, including how well they follow recommended steps to treat common conditions, says Carmela Coyle, senior vice president for policy at the American Hospital Association.

8. "Most ERs are in need of some urgent care themselves."A new study from the Institute of Medicine found that hospital emergency departments are overburdened, underfunded and ill prepared to handle disasters as the number of people turning to ERs for primary care keeps rising. An ambulance is turned away from an ER once every minute due to overcrowding, according to the study; the situation is exacerbated by shortages in many of the "on call" backup services for cardiologists, orthopedists and neurosurgeons. And it's getting worse. Currently, 73% of ER directors report inadequate coverage by on-call specialists, versus 67% in 2004, according to a survey conducted by the American College of Emergency Physicians.If you can, avoid the ER between 3 p.m. and 1 a.m. — the busiest shift. For the shortest wait, early morning — anywhere from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. — is your best bet. If you are having severe symptoms, such as the worst headache of your life or chest pains, alert the triage nurse manager, not just the person checking you in, so that you get seen sooner, says David Sherer, an anesthesiologist and author of Dr. David Sherer's Hospital Survival Guide. Triage nurses are the traffic cops of the ER and your ticket to getting seen as quickly as possible.

9. "Avoid hospitals in July like the plague."If you can, stay out of the hospital during the summer — especially July. That's the month when medical students become interns, interns become residents, and residents become fellows and full-fledged doctors. In other words, a good portion of the staff at any given teaching hospital are new on the job.Summer hospital horror stories aren't just medical lore: The adjusted mortality rate rises 4% in July and August for the average major teaching hospital, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research. That means eight to 14 more deaths occur at major teaching hospitals than would normally without the turnover.Another scheduling tip: Try to book surgeries first thing in the morning, and preferably early in the week, when doctors are at their best and before schedules get backed up, Sherer says.

10. "Sometimes we don't keep our mouths zipped."Contrary to what you might think, sharing patient information with a third party is often perfectly legal. In certain cases, the law allows your medical records to be disclosed without asking or even notifying you. For example, hospitals will hand over information regarding your treatment to other doctors, and it will readily share those details with insurance companies for payment purposes. That means roughly 600,000 entities that are loosely involved in the health care system have access to that information. as to why they can afford to put a Walgreen's on every corner.

On Monday night, Steve Wilson, an investigative reporter for
Channel 7 News in Detroit, did a story on generic drug
price gouging by pharmacies.

He found in his investigation, that some of these generic drugs
were marked up as much as 3,000% or more.

Yes, that's not a typo..... three thousand percent!

So often, we blame the drug companies for the high cost of drugs, and usually rightfully so.

But in this case, the fault clearly lies with the pharmacies themselves.

For example, if you had to buy a prescription drug, and bought
the name brand, you might pay $100 for 100 pills.

The pharmacist might tell you that if you get the generic equivalent, they would only cost $80, making you think you are "saving" $20.

What the pharmacist is not telling you is that those100 generic pills may have only cost him $10! At the end of the report, one of the anchors asked Mr. Wilson whether or not there were any pharmacies that did not adhere to this practice, and he said that Costco consistently charged little over their cost for the generic drugs. I went to the Costco site, where you can look up any drug, and get its online price. It says that the in-store prices are consistent with the online prices.

I was appalled. Just to give you one example from my own experience, I had to use the drug, Compazine, which helps prevent nausea in chemo patients.

I used the generic equivalent, which cost $54.99 for 60 pills at CVS. I checked the price at Costco, and I could have bought 100 pills for $19.89.

For 145 of my pain pills, I paid $72.57. I could have got 150 at Costco for $28.08. I would like to mention, that although Costco isa "membership" type store, you do NOThave to be a member to buy prescriptions there, as it is a federally regulated substance.

You just tell them at the door that you wish to use the pharmacy,
and they will let you in. (this is true) I went there this past Thursday and asked them.

Soy, what is it good for...? (To the tune of “War, what is it good for” etc.?)

Are we knocking soy? Isn’t that un-American. Has not soy taken the place of mom and apple pie as the health-fooder’s dream. It is in everything now from tofu ice cream to baby’s formula.

They are already running too many experiments on us already, e.g. water fluoridation, vaccinations, most drugs, most food additives, etc. etc. etc. Better yet, tell your market you will not buy anything that is GM or has GM derivatives, whatever it is. WHAT IS RIFE FREQUENCY THERAPY?
Part 2 of Survival Tactics (See Also Part 1)

This is a long article for a blog but we feel it is necessary to tell the story. First, we must indulge in a little back plot so it all makes sense. It is time that people become aware of the possible coming catastrophic earth changes so they can prepare. If these events, as predicted in the Third Secret of Fatima and other prophesies, do not transpire, then little harm is done. In fact, if the folks of the Gulf Coast had been apprised of this danger and prepared thus, they would be in a much better position now to “weather the storms” that they are enduring. It is also possible, though a bit of a stretch, to ascribe the current events in the Gulf as the beginning of these earth changes and thus, just a fore-taste of things to come all about the globe! We hope this is wrong of course.

Many good thinkers believe we are close to a cataclysm of earth changes that will destroy many cities and leave millions homeless and destitute. Not just seers and prophets who may or may not believe this is an angry god’s retribution for his creation deviating too far from his Law and Will (e.g. Sodom and Gomorrah, Babylon, etc.), but scientists who look at cold, hard facts and come up with dire predictions for earthquakes and tsunamis and maybe even inactive volcanoes erupting. Of course, there are the other types of disasters like possible epidemics, e.g. the Bird Flu.

What has this to do with “rife”? Good question and it deserves a good segue.

It is time to reveal the secrets of the ages that some of mankind might survive intact. Velikovsky in his great works, “Worlds In Collision” and “Earth In Upheaval”, in great detail, chronicled a cyclic event that is written in geology, scriptures, etc. from many and diverse peoples from all over the globe. This cyclic event has produced great and sudden earth changes that have all but wiped out man and even all vertebrate life on earth many times before!

This involves at the least a shift in the magnetic poles (which is not a stranger to current science) and at the most, a horrific physical shift in the actual crust of the earth due to some periodic but unknown force (Perhaps known to the ancients as Nibiru, Marduk, i.e. an unknown planetary body of great mass with an elliptic orbit that gives it a 3657 year elliptical rotation around the sun. Periodically, it may have come close enough to our planet to cause major upheavals.) Many think it is immanent and we concur that there are compelling reasons for believing such. To go into the reasoning would be to stray to far from our subject. If you are interested we will supply links at the end of this article. Though Velikovsky’s books are out of print, they are still available at Borders and other good book stores.

So now “rife”. If man is too survive and continue evolving, i.e. remain the dominant life form on this planet, then he requires a way to deal with major diseases and epidemics. Notwithstanding the very real threat of Bio Terror* and other pandemics, if the magnetic field of the earth goes null, and it is getting weaker, there is good evidence that our immune systems may be rendered substantially weak. If this is combined with any kind of upheaval in the earth, the onslaught of germs and pathogens unknown to our systems would quite certainly overwhelm our meager defenses. At this time there is no antibiotic for mutating super germs that are already gene sharing and building their immunity with other so-far benign pathogens. There is no potential antibiotic on the horizon. Alternative medicine is our only chance at this time and into the foreseeable future!

One of the most suppressed cures of all time was the discovery/invention by a certain Royal Rife back in the 1930’s, that every microbe has a resonant frequency, which if used at the right strength and duration can easily destroy that microbe. The principle of this device are accessible by anyone with high school math and a predilection for electronics. To build a simple device is rather easy and way-showers like Hulda Clarke have given instructions for such. Physicist Gary Wade has given elaborate instructions in his Alberta 2 Lecture from his writings. A few companies actually build good devices but most appear to be lacking in a basic understanding of the physics involved. According to Gary Wade, the actual activity that enters the body is actually “ultra sound” similar to that used in medicine but different in many important ways. (Humans hear from about 16 beats or cycles per second to about 22,000 beats or cycles per second; this is called frequency. A piano tuner uses a tuning fork of 440 frequency to tune the middle A of a piano. Above this 22,000 cycles per second (cps) is what we call ultra sound.)

Royal Rife’s work covered frequencies up to 40,000,000 cps. He catalogued 52 diseases that he could kill using his frequency machine made from an X-ray tube, two of which were cancer. Not to go off on a tangent but it is worth reading about his clinical trials on cancer patients that were pronounced the walking dead by the doctors of the time. Rife brought them back to health!

We think the rife technology is ideal for the coming bad times. Like a samurai swordsman is ready for any kind of attack anywhere, anytime, we have to have an instrument that is practical and adaptable no matter what the situation. Even if all power is gone, a rife machine can be run on marine or golf cart batteries using an inverter. Even a car could be used as a generator although inefficient at best. All one needs is electricity.

There are many apparent means to generate these rife frequencies. Light has been used and also radio waves. But, after talking with plasma physicist Gary Wade and reading his articles, we understand now that all these modalities generate, upon hitting the dead skin layer, ultra sound in the body! It is so simple, e.g . Mechanical shaking rates! Like the opera singer that shatters the crystal goblet with just the right note, like the soldiers of ancient times who discovered you must break step when crossing a bridge or you get very wet, like the gun shot that brings down an avalanche on some unlucky ski town....all it takes is the right tone or chord!

We have seen this happen. We have used this on numerous maladies from the flu to infections of all types, viral and bacterial. We have seen it evict parasites and remove lyme disease. It is not a cure all. Many frequencies are either unknown or change with the pleo-morphic nature of most diseases like Hep C and Herpes, etc., i.e. some pathogens have spore states etc. But, it is found, that if these frequencies are applied long enough and consistently, then they will at least knock down these predatory diseases to the point where the body’s own immune system can handle them. Many times there is a complete remission or cure if the term may be used cautiously, since rife has been so suppressed nary a clinical study has been done to our knowledge since Rife’s time!!

Short of building one’s own version which can be done but takes some technical skills, see Alberta Lecture 2, there are numerous models on the market. The trick is to ascertain which ones have any real therapeutic capacity. One good source of discussion and feedback is the Rifeforum.com. We have done some research and want to highlight the papers and design of one particular scientist, physicist Gary Wade. You can find many of his papers from simple to complex at Gary Wade articles.

Basically, he has improved on the original concept quite significantly. As well as extending the range of Dr. Rife’s frequency machine from 40 mega hertz to some 80 megahertz effectively, he as invented a scanning procedure that makes it superfluous if one does not know the correct frequency(s). One of the greatest drawbacks to the rife approach has been the lack of sufficient certainty regarding the correct frequency of most diseases. Though there are many lists of frequencies published, they are not proven and one has a hard time as a non-techie in knowing if they are square wave, sine wave, etc. Then there are the new diseases and even the mutated diseases. How is one to keep up with this when there is no established criteria for rife research?

Gary Wade has solved this knotty problem by his scanning device, which by just “dumb luck” should hit the right frequency as it slowly scans from 0 to the high mega hertz in a standard treatment cycle. The idea is simple but amazingly effective; since the scanning goes up in sets of frequencies, the chances of hitting the right one is very good indeed. We don’t think the normal non physicist could ever build one like this. There are too many brilliant little electronic tricks that he has used to get the most out of earth technology circa 2000.

Magnesium is so important to the body that it’s deficiency can trigger at least 22 conditions from Asthma to Raynaud's Syndrome.

Medicine has turned its back on magnesium because most of the funding for medical research now comes from drug companies. Magnesium is not a patented drug and therefore will not be studied by drug companies, except to try to disprove its action.

While researching my book, "The Miracle of Magnesium," I found that doctors have been prescribing magnesium for heart disease since the 1930s. A review of seven major clinical studies showed that IV magnesium reduced the odds of death by more than half in patients suffering acute myocardial infarction (heart attack). One study, LIMIT-2, developed a protocol for giving magnesium as soon as possible after onset of the heart attack and before any other drugs. If those criteria were followed, heart muscle damage was greatly reduced, and neither hypertension nor arrhythmia developed.

Magnesium: Research Misconduct?

For the past 15 years evidence has stacked up showing patients with acute coronary thrombosis improve their survival chances by 5082.5 percent when given intravenous magnesium of 3266 micromoles (mmol) in the first 24 hours. The single negative study showing that magnesium had a worsening effect on survival employed a far higher dose of magnesium80 mmol than the other studies (European Heart J, 1991; 12: 12158), and one other study showing no benefit with magnesium employed the low dose of 10 mmol in the first 24 hours.

Although it would appear clear to any first year medical student that magnesium worked well for coronary thrombosis within the optimal dosage level of 30 to 70 mmol 10 mmol was shown to be too little and 80 mmol had been shown to be too much in 1990/91, the Fourth International Study on Infarct Survival (ISIS 4) team decided to do a major study which was to definitely determine whether magnesium was beneficial when used for this purpose. Although their own meta-analysis of all earlier studies showed that magnesium was beneficial, the ISIS 4 investigators also decided to test magnesium against the drug Catopril and a coronary vasodilator.

Astonishingly, the ISIS 4 investigators chose to use the 80 mmol dosage for their study the one dosage that had been found to be harmful. It should be noted that the ISIS 4 study was funded to the tune of almost $10 million by Bristol Myers Squibb, the manufacturers of Catopril. Not surprisingly, magnesium lagged behind the drugs.

As a result of this paper many hospitals ceased using magnesium in their treatment of the acute coronary thrombosis.

The scandalous decision to use this overdosage of magnesium in this study must have caused the loss of several thousand lives within the study and many other lives in other hospitals that have now stopped using magnesium. Both nutritional pioneer Dr Stephen Davies and Dr Damien Downing, editor of the Journal of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine, criticized the designers of the study for clearly selecting too large a dose of intravenous magnesium, and also for giving magnesium too late and then too quickly. Downing even titled his editorial "Is ISIS 4 research misconduct?" (J Nutr Environ Med, 1999; 9: 513).

Drinking distilled water over longs periods is very dangerous!

This may seem inconsequential but it is very important. The kind of water we drink can make us or break us. Distilled water is not natural and except for certain specific short term applications should not be used for drinking. Most people in so-called civilized countries are dehydrated in some parts of their bodies. More water needs to be taken, but it should be slightly alkaline and contain minerals like calcium and magnesium.

“Fasting using distilled water can be dangerous because of the rapid loss of electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride) and trace minerals like magnesium, deficiencies of which can cause heart beat irregularities and high blood pressure. What are oxygen therapies and how can they help me?

Good question. Who knows what the future will bring, but if the past is any indication, then it could try men’s bodies as well as try their souls, so to speak. Bio-logical (should be bio-illogical) warfare, a rampant flu epidemic, even a flip in the earth’s magnetic poles, (which by the way has happened many times according to scientists) could knock our immune systems for a lupe-tee-lu. If case you are one of the few left that still believes what the government says about anything without first plugging in your portable "crap detector", then please disregard this and go read George Orwell's "Animal Farm".

If you at least question what you are told, then chew on this. The FDA states unequivically that "ozone" is a toxic gas and has no proven medical benefit. What are rife frequencies about? What is a rife machine and what does it do? I heard it can cure things that medical science says are incurable. How do I tell which information is true and correct and which may be fake and hype and just plain fraud? Is there a genuine rife technology out there that could save our lives? This is a crucial issue now that cancer has become public enemy #1 ahead of heart disease. Abstract: Seven patients, aged between 50 and 69 years, had typical features of nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) within 36 hours after ingestion of sildenafil citrate (Viagra) for erectile dysfunction. Six patients had vision loss within 24 hours after use of the agent. Final visual acuity in the affected eye ranged from 20/20 to light perception. Both eyes were affected in one individual. All affected individuals had pre-existing hypertension, diabetes, elevated cholesterol, or hyperlipidemia. Seven similar cases have been previously reported. Sildenafil may provoke NAION in individuals with an arteriosclerotic risk profile.

Children's Cancer and Pesticides

This is nothing new. It is just news to most of us because we are told about this by the media. Barry Commoner and Rachel Carson wrote about it some fifty years ago. We are poisoning ourselves with an exotic assortment of manmade, unnatural chemicals that should never come near a human body let alone a child's. Children develop cancer much faster than adults. They have fewer defenses. We lament the kidnapping a murder of a child because it is vivid and dramatic. The causative chain of events between household and industrial pesticides is more subtle, takes a long time to prove, and so does not engage our emotions as much. It should. Cancer is now becoming the second cause of death in young children!!! Wake up America. It happened to the Romans. Are we destined for the same end?

An article in Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) November 2, 1994, sings the praises of spinach. People who ate Popeye's favorite daily suffered only one-tenth as much age-related macular degeneration (AMD) as those who seldom ate spinach. And for patients with the condition, eating spinach prevented worsening.

Research has now confirmed that three to four portions of spinach weekly can reverse at least early AMD. "Dr. Richer, chief of the optometry section at the Dept. of Veterans Affairs in North Chicago, recently tested 14 patients who were showing the first signs of AMD.
